What termite treatment do you need?
It depends on where the termites are, how far they have spread and the type of building. Most active infestations in the Klang Valley are subterranean termites coming up from the soil, so the treatment has to reach the colony underground, not just the wood you can see.
During the free inspection our technician checks floors, door frames, roof timbers, cabinets and the area around the building for mud tubes, soil trails and damaged timber. We then recommend one of these approaches and give you a quotation:
1
Termite baiting (Sentricon®)
Bait stations around and inside the building. Termites carry the bait back and the colony is eliminated. Our main recommendation for active infestations. How the termite baiting system works.
2
Soil barrier for new builds
A treated barrier in the soil before the floor slab is cast, for new houses, extensions and renovations. See anti-termite treatment.
3
Spot treatment and monitoring
For small, contained activity we may treat the affected area directly and keep monitoring. We'll tell you honestly if that is enough.
7 signs you have termites (white ants)
Termites work out of sight, so most homeowners only notice them once there is damage. These are the signs our technicians look for first during an inspection.
1
Mud tubes on walls
Pencil-width tunnels of soil on walls, floors, pillars or foundations. Termites build them to stay moist while they travel between the soil and your house.
2
Tunnels under tiles and timber
Lift a loose floor tile or move timber that touches the ground and you may find soil trails or galleries underneath. Subterranean termites live and travel underground.
3
Holes in garden trees
Termites hollow out tree trunks, stumps and roots. Small holes or soil-filled cracks in a trunk usually mean a colony is close to the house.
4
Soil packed into cracks
Soil pressed into cracks, joints or gaps around door and window frames. Termites seal openings this way to keep out light and dry air.
5
Hollow-sounding wood
Tap door frames, skirting boards and cabinets. Wood that sounds papery or gives under a screwdriver is often eaten from the inside. You may also hear faint clicking in walls.
6
Frass (termite droppings)
Tiny pellets that look like sawdust or coffee grounds, often under furniture or door frames. This points to drywood termites inside the timber.
7
Discarded wings
Small wings of equal size near windows, lights or door sills. Flying termites (alates, or kelkatu) shed them after swarming, usually at dusk after rain.
Spraying kills the termites you can see. Sentricon® goes after the whole colony, including the queen, so the problem doesn't come back from the same nest.
1
Free inspection
We find where termites are active, how they are getting in and what has been damaged, then give you a quotation. No obligation.
2
Bait stations go in
Sentricon® stations are placed in the soil around the building, plus above-ground stations on active spots indoors where needed. There is no flooding of the soil with liquid termiticide.
3
Termites carry the bait home
Worker termites feed on the bait and share it through the colony. The active ingredient stops termites from moulting, so the colony gradually dies off, queen included.
4
Monitor and protect
We check the stations, top up bait as needed and confirm when activity stops. The stations stay in place to catch any new colony that comes looking for food.
Installing a bait station on an active mud tubeElimination usually takes from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the size of the colony and how actively termites are feeding.Genuine Sentricon® bait, as used on our jobs
Spray kills the termites it touches, but a subterranean colony can have its nest metres away underground, with workers constantly replacing the ones you kill. The colony survives, and the termites come back through another gap.
That is why many homeowners in Malaysia see white ants return a few months after a DIY spray or a quick chemical job. Termite control only lasts when it reaches the source. The Sentricon® system does that: worker termites carry the bait back to the nest and share it, and the colony gradually dies off.

Commercial termite control for shops, restaurants and warehouses
We treat termites in commercial premises across the Klang Valley, including restaurants, retail shops, offices, warehouses and factories, with the same colony-elimination approach used for homes.
Food and retail businesses can't risk termites in stock, shelving or fit-out. Bait stations are discreet, need no evacuation and keep working in the background while you trade. We plan visits around your opening hours where we can.
Restaurants and food outlets: stations placed away from food-prep areas
Shoplots and retail: protection for timber fit-out and stock
Warehouses and factories: perimeter stations around the building
What happens during a termite treatment visit?
The first visit is the free inspection: we find the activity, explain what we found and give you a quotation. If you go ahead, we install the stations (usually within one visit) and then come back to monitor them on the schedule in your quotation.
You don't need to move out or empty your cupboards. We'll ask you to clear access to the spots where termites are active, and to avoid disturbing mud tubes before the inspection, because the termites in them are what carry the bait back to the colony.
We use the Sentricon® system, with genuine bait supplied by Corteva Agriscience (Malaysia), to eliminate the colony itself.

Frequently asked questions
How much does termite treatment cost in Malaysia?
Every job is quoted after a free inspection, because the price depends on the size of the property, how widespread the infestation is and which treatment is needed. We don't publish fixed prices. Read what affects termite treatment cost.
Are white ants the same as termites?
Yes. "White ants" is the common Malaysian name for termites (anai-anai in Malay, 白蚁 in Chinese). They are not ants at all. See termites vs ants.
How long does it take to get rid of termites?
With Sentricon® baiting, the colony is usually eliminated within a few weeks to a few months, depending on its size and how actively the termites feed. We monitor the stations until activity stops.
Is the treatment safe for children and pets?
Sentricon® bait sits inside closed stations, so there is no spraying of chemicals around your home. We'll explain where each station goes and what to avoid touching.
Do you offer termite treatment near me?
We cover the whole Klang Valley, anywhere within about 2 hours' drive, including Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Puchong, Cheras, Subang Jaya, Kajang and Ampang. Technicians come to you; there is no walk-in office.
Is the termite treatment promotion still available?
Yes, our termite treatment package is currently 50% off. Terms apply and the promotion is subject to inspection. WhatsApp us to check if it applies to your property.
